YOUNG ADULTS
Find Community and Spiritual Grounding for Your Unique Contribution to the World.
Welcome! The TGC Young Adult group serves 20s-30s – everyone from undergrad and graduate students, young professionals, to young parents. We undergo so many transitions during this time of life. Whether it's graduating college, entering the workforce, starting a family, moving across the country, or switching careers as we try to figure out our calling, these decades are full of so much change and growth.
At Triangle Grace, our young adult group is meant to be a space for folks in their 20s and 30s to build community and learn how to better walk in the way of Jesus, who called us to love, embrace a hurting world, and live with purpose. This time of life is beautiful and difficult, and our group exists to support one another as we try to better shine with the light of Christ in our jobs, education, and homes. We'd love to have you be part of our group!

Weekly Bible Study
Tuesday Nights | 6:30pm-9:00pm
Our weekly Bible study is the primary way that we build community and grow in our faith together. After sharing a meal together, we study scripture, and spend time hanging out and praying together. Interested in coming on a Tuesday? Please check out the link to our meeting location for the week below and/or contact Jessa.
Regular Hangouts
Time and location varies
In addition to our weekly Bible study, our group also tries to do regular scheduled activities to fellowship and build community. In the past, these have involved things like board game nights, going to a Durham Bulls game, going on a ski trip, or meeting at local festivals and fairs.
We're always on the lookout for fun activities to do together around the Triangle!
Stay in Touch!
You can sign up for our weekly newsletter here for updates.
Jessa and her husband Maciek currently lead the young adults. They are happy to meet with you if you’re new to the area, would like some company, or are interested in the young adult meetings and Triangle Grace!
Walking into a new church can always be a bit intimidating. We love welcoming internationals, people who are looking for a place to grow or volunteer in the local community, and people who may be navigating hard questions around faith. If you see Jessa, please flag her down! She’d love to say hi or go out for a coffee or take a walk in Duke Gardens to get to know you better.
Jessa Godek, ECO Intern, Young Adult Leader. Jessa spent around four years in the nonprofit world (addressing various forms of abuse in Christian institutions) and now has a Master in Theological Studies from Duke Divinity School. She loves making art and is trying to find even more hobbies (other than keeping various coffee shops in the area well-funded). She likes to run and write and does her best to keep her plants alive.
Maciek Godek, Young Adult Deacon. Maciek is a site reliability engineer at Google and hails from Warsaw, Poland. He loves reading, deep discussions, and using quality pens.
