SUNDAY CLASSES
SUNDAY CLASSES
Learn with others on Sunday mornings
Every Sunday we offer classes and discipleship opportunities from 9am-10am, before our service starts at 10:15am. The classes offered during that time change every few months, so check back here to see what classes are currently being offered. There's no need to RSVP or register for a class - just show up at 9am ready to explore Scripture and make new friends.
CURRENT CLASSES
JOIN US ON SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM IN VARIOUS CLASSROOMS LISTED BELOW
Fellowship Class - Proverbs
led by Ray Huml (Room 206)
Join us as we study Proverbs using Christianity Today’s LifeGuide by William Mouser, “Proverbs: Learning to Live Wisely.” Together, we will explore how God worked through Solomon and other writers to give us wisdom for living faithfully in today’s challenging world. In keeping with our long-standing class tradition, we will make room for prayer, informal discussion, and shared reflection as we study God’s Word together.
Faith Seeking Understanding
led by Richard Draffin & John Paderson (Room 100)
The two letters of Peter are incredibly rich, deep, and practical, and have much to say to us today. Issues of persecution and suffering are prominent in 1 Peter, and are set in the larger context of God's eternal plan. Those undergoing suffering should be full of hope, as their salvation is secure, and they are already enjoying the benefits of the arrival of the kingdom of God.
In 2 Peter, a major emphasis is placed on false teachers and false doctrine, which denies the second coming of Jesus. The epistle takes the form of a farewell address, claiming forcefully that the grace of God is transformative, allowing believers to live righteously. Please join us as we study these parts of God's inspired Word. Each class is self-contained, so please attend whenever you are able.
