SUNDAY CLASSES

Learn with others on Sunday mornings

Every Sunday we offer classes and discipleship opportunities from 9am-10am, before our service starts at 10:15am. The classes offered during that time change every few months, so check back here to see what classes are currently being offered. There's no need to RSVP or register for a class - just show up at 9am ready to explore Scripture and make new friends.

CURRENT CLASSES

JOIN US ON SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AM IN VARIOUS CLASSROOMS LISTED BELOW

Galatians

led by Richard Draffin and Rich Lamb (Room 100)

Please join us for a study of Galatians, which is a three way argument including Paul, agitators, and the churches in Galatia, concerning some Jewish Christians’ insistence on the need for circumcision for a person to be included in the people of God. Probably written in 55 AD, here Paul is agitated by the “Jesus plus” ideology, and this epistle depicts the apostle vigorously defending the gospel. We will examine some teachings from the book of James in light of Galatians. Each class is self-contained, so please join us whenever you can.

FELLOWSHIP CLASS:  Psalms: Prayers of the Heart

led by Molly Williamson (Room 206)

Join us as we walk through Psalms: Prayers of the Heart, a study by Eugene Peterson. The Psalms teach us how to relate to God as we pray our doubt, fears and anger. Ultimately, they show us how to turn to God in praise. In keeping with our class tradition, we highly value prayer and informal discussions as we explore God’s Word together.
