SUNDAY CLASSES
SUNDAY CLASSES
Learn with others on Sunday mornings
Every Sunday we offer classes and discipleship opportunities from 9am-10am, before our service starts at 10:15am. The classes offered during that time change every few months, so check back here to see what classes are currently being offered. There's no need to RSVP or register for a class - just show up at 9am ready to explore Scripture and make new friends.

Jonah
led by Richard Draffin and Rich Lamb (Room 100)
Jonah is unusual among the OT prophets in that it is not a collection of oracles from God to people, but a story about a prophet. The genre of the book is debated (history, allegory, parable, wisdom story, etc), but very clear messages from God are present, including God's compassion for all people, the sovereignty of God, the need for repentance, and the assurance that God will relent if requested. Jonah was also one of the few prophets whose mission was clearly successful (using only five Hebrew words)! Join us for an in depth examination and prayerful consideration of this fascinating and entertaining part of God's inspired word.
Fellowship Class - Psalms: Prayers of the Heart
led by Molly Williamson (Room 206)
Join us as we walk through Psalms: Prayers of the Heart, a study by Eugene Peterson. The Psalms teach us how to relate to God as we pray our doubt, fears and anger. Ultimately, they show us how to turn to God in praise. In keeping with our class tradition, we highly value prayer and informal discussions as we explore God’s Word together.
