Caregivers Support Group

Caregiver Support Group Sessions will meet in Room 101 at 3pm bi-monthly on 2nd and 4th Sunday of most months.

We are currently studying “NECESSARAY Conversations between families and their aging parents” (2nd edition) by Gerald and Marlene Kaufman.

Oct 21        Chapter 6: Where to Live

Nov 4         Chapter 7: Conversations about Health

Nov 18       Chapter8&9: Left Behind and A Legacy of Family Conversations (Room 206 vs. 101)

We also coordinate special presentations periodically and hope to have a Funeral Planning Presentation by Hall-Wynne funeral home sometime in early 2019.  If you know of a presentation that might help our caregivers, please let us know.

If you would like more information, contact Diane Albert at harrydiane@nc.rr.com or call the church office.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

All are Welcome

This small group discusses and shares ways to meet the needs of our older loved ones, with special focus on how to care for parents while providing understanding, support, and fellowship with each other. The group operates under the small group ground rules of confidentiality.
